What’s Happening for September 2018???

Last quarter of 2018, Can you believe it?!

Well, there is still time to achieve goals set for 2018.

This month I.Essence has some new classes to keep you motivated and have fun whilst achieving your health and fitness goals.

Tuesday nights 7.30pm at London City Island there is a new Zumba Class in town, first night is Tuesday 25th September. New to Zumba, come down to the Unity Festival on Saturday 22nd September at 12.00pm, for a taste of Zumba. Not new to Zumba, come along anyway.

Thursday night Zumba is back from Thursday 13th September at Chadwell Heath Baptist Church. This class is Zumba with Zumba Toning, bring light weights or Zumba Toning sticks.

Every last Sunday of the month, join our bootcamp 10.00am at Goodmayes Park, in Goodmayes.

Personal training is always available, contact us for a consultation.

Hello Smoothie!!

My Favourite Smoothie with AVOCADOS

I’ve had a few faux pas when it comes to making nutritious smoothies, but one of my favourites is my avocado smoothie. I combine this with apple, kale and spinach, keeping it simple helps to reduce wastage.

The benefits are so good also, with avocado having more potassium than bananas,  potassium having properties which lower and control blood pressure,  it is a winner for those who don’t fancy the taste of bananas and want to reduce high blood pressure.

It’s also heart-healthy with mono-unsaturated fatty-acids which helps to reduce cholestrol and triglyceride level….. Enough of the science jargon, lets give it a try….

Ingredients :

half an avocado

1 small apple

1 Cup of Kale

1 Cup of Spinach
